Collapsable Steering Column

This kit is an excellent safety upgrade that lets you retain your original horn and indicator assembly in the centre of the steering wheel. It includes an evenly perforated tube designed to bend and collapse under heavy impact. The bushes, together with the square plate, help prevent movement of the upper section of the column. A thin aluminium tube and two rubber seals are also provided to enclose the collapsible mechanism and protect it from dirt. The tube is welded into position, so it is recommended to replace the worm bearings before installation and welding.​
