1954 Austin Healey 100/4 BN1
Built on the 15th July 1954, KFK 73 is a genuine UK RHD BN1 100/4 and has remained in the UK throughout its life. Originally Healey Blue from the factory, this car was dispatched from Longbridge and first registered in Worcester.
In 2010, the owner commissioned JME Healeys to proceed with a full nut and bolt restoration to the condition you now see the vehicle. The original chassis, inner structure and outer body were restored. The engine was full rebuilt to BN1 specification with the car retaining its original 3-speed gearbox. The car was painted in the desirable colour of Healey Blue. All original components were re-used on the rebuild where possible to keep the car to true BN1 specification. A full re-trim with leather seats & tailored hood & tonneau cover were also completed.
During the restoration, the car was fitted with an aluminium cylinderhead for reliability and improved cooling, electronic ignition and the improved 72 spoke wire wheels on Avon CR6ZZ tyres.
Since completion in March 2012, the car has covered 1800 miles.
Supplied fully serviced and checked, the car is complete with Current UK V5C registration document, Heritage certificate, and a detailed folder of invoices. The car also retains its original chassis and body plates.
The car is in fantastic condition and is being sold on behalf of the current owner. It would be difficult to find a better 100/4 for sale on the market at this time and not possible to replicate for the asking price.
This car is available for immediate viewing and test driving at our premises in Warwick.
